About us
There is a particular kind of tired that is not nourished by sleep, a particular kind of wired that cannot be blamed on excessive coffee or energy drinks. Your body knows the difference, even after the mind has given up trying to explain it, and perhaps a quieter part of you knows it too, and that is why you're here.
I'm Jessica, a somatic psychotherapist and complex trauma practitioner, and before either of those, an actress and a registered nurse. Different rooms, but the same thread running through them all; a lifelong education in what it means to sit with people in pain, to hold space for what's vulnerable, without running from it.
This isn't therapy. It's a chance to gently presence your way toward healing, rather than think your way around it, to learn and hold for yourself some of what people usually have to pay a therapist to receive, nervous system regulation, somatic healing, and a compassionate understanding of what it takes to recover from developmental trauma, complex trauma, and shock trauma, or PTSD. Held with the respect it deserves, without losing room for lightness along the way.
Inside every human being is a movement toward becoming, like a plant searching for the sun, the plant doesn't need convincing, it is simply following its instincts and reaching. This space is where that gets to happen, where you're reminded, gently, that you're not alone, and that you're not broken, and you do not need fixing.
Come as you are.
