The Majestic Mardi Himal Trek is one of the lesser known, hidden gems when it comes to scenic trekking in the Annapurna Mountain Ranges.

Where most people would do the normal trek to Annapurna Base Camp (ABC), this Trail takes you around the corner of the map and off the usual Annapurna beaten track.

This Mardi Himal Trekking adventure is much more scenic as it slowly transport you to the mesmerizing Mardi Himal Base Camp, located right under the massif mountain ranges of Mardi Himal and Machhapuchhre, also known as the Fish Tail Mountain.

On the Mardi Himal Trek you'll get to enjoy the views above the clouds but without the crowds during this spring season where you'll have a chance to enjoy the snow and build your own snowman.

Expect to trek through lush greenery mossy forests, colorful teahouses, stunning rhododendron forests and be mesmerized by the most spectacular views of the Annapurna Mountain Range. At this vantage point, you will see 'eye to eye' with giants like Mardi Himal, Machhapuchhre, Annapurna South and Hiunchuli.

Where is The Mardi Himal Trek?

The Mardi Himal Trek can be found under the watchful eyes of Machhapuchhre, Fish Tail Mountain, one of the giants to be found in the Annapurna Massif. Yes, on this trek, you will find many stone houses, quaint teahouses, and many rock cairns. You can find the route of this trek just off the main trail to the Annapurna Base Camp. This makes it a highly popular alternative to other treks in the Annapurna Region like the Annapurna Base Camp Trek or the Annapurna Circuit Trek.

As it's still relatively new to the World Trekking Community, the best time to explore is NOW before the madding trekking crowd comes in just like ABC or EBC. And of course enjoy the freshness of SPRING!

As this is more an Intermediate Trek above 4000+ m, it may not be suitable for First-Timers or Beginners. We will share more details with you during our Trip Briefing/ Q & A Session to help you prepare and assess your hiking ability/ readiness to do this scenic trek.
