SAVE the TREES 3rd Sunday of August along the tidal canal

hidden Gem. Union Point Park in Oakland on the tidal canal with Alameda, which has a parking lot shared with the Marina. We have 40+ trees that need mulch, weeding some structure improvements. These trees are currently alive, so now with this infusion of TLC, they will last until winter rains.

Temperature along the canal is cooler than most off Oakland. You will need sun hat, water bottle. We will have gloves and spare water and a canopy for shade. If you have a boom box, bring it!
