Tree Planting & Care at Lakeside Park
Join Trees for Oakland and the Yale Blue Green group for a hands-on urban forestry event at Lakeside Park! We'll be planting 10 new trees and caring for young trees from previous plantings — activities include mulching, light pruning, and restaking to help our saplings thrive.

What to bring:

• Closed-toed shoes (required)
• Water bottle
• Work gloves (if you have them)
• Sun hat ☀️ (hopefully!)

Meeting spot: Corner of Perkins Street and Grand Avenue, Lakeside Park
Weather policy: If heavy rain is forecasted, we will announce any changes to our plans at least 2 days before the event. Keep an eye out for updates here on Meetup!

Participants under 18: Minors are welcome but must have permission from a parent or guardian to attend. If coming without a parent or guardian, please contact the organizers in advance.
