What to Bring: Wear closed-toed shoes, clothes that you can get dirty, and a hat for sun protection; bring your own water. We'll provide the shovels, picks, gloves and masks, but if you have your own please bring them along.

In this Year of The Fire Horse🐴, we've rapidly transformed Little Saigon's East 12th Street into a vibrant corridor rooted in high-end art, murals and beauty. Led in partnership with 333 Arts, DC16 International Painters Union, Public Works, Artists Hyde, DJ Agana, Vogue, Patrick Piccolo, Thi, LukeDragon, SevenSeas, D2 Council Member Charlene Wang, East 12th St Reimagined Coalition, The City Administrator's Office, this is undoubtedly becoming THE MOST BEAUTIFUL street in Oakland 🫶.
We need the community's help in putting on critical finishing touches: weeding and greening the street's median with native plants, a pollinator garden, tree canopy; beautifying buildings; and removing residual illegal dumping from city streets. With your help, we're changing East 12th into a welcoming, greener, healthier, and SAFER place for all Oaklanders.
