Imagine waking up to the cool, misty air of the Laotian mountains, greeted by the soft light of dawn and the sound of the waking rainforest. You step outside to view the rolling hills of the jungle stretching as far as the eye can see. The sky slowly brightens as you watch the sunrise, a golden glow spilling over the lush landscape. Make your way to an open-air yoga session overlooking the vast and picturesque landscape.

You are guided through a meditation and energizing yoga sequence, grounding you in the present moment. Your body flows, stretches, strengthens, and lengthens amidst the sounds of nature. The day is just about to begin, filled with the discovery of simplicity and rejuvenation. As the serene landscapes unfold, the rhythm of cycling complements the rhythm of your breath, creating a harmonious union of movement and mindfulness. The gentle pedalling along picturesque trails allows for a deep connection with the lush surroundings, where verdant jungles, tranquil rivers, and ancient temples weave a tapestry of natural and cultural beauty.

Intertwining meditation and yoga into this expedition enhances the experience. Amidst the serenity of Laos, these practices foster introspection and mental clarity. Meditation amidst stunning vistas cultivates present-moment awareness, while yoga poses amidst nature's grandeur nurture physical vitality and balance. The peaceful ambiance of Laos, with its tranquil villages and friendly locals, provides an ideal backdrop for reflection and self-awareness.

The route is a gentle, entry-level experience for all riders and allows you to discover Laos at its best, at the perfect pace. The dramatic karst backdrop of Oudomxay province provides the canvas for a truly memorable ride. We have packed so many experiences that your call for wonder and adventure will happily echo while drifting along the mighty Mekong or zigzagging downhill, surrounded on either side by pristine forest.

Nong Khiaw is a delight with quiet riverside bars and restaurants, as well as unique trails and paths to rural communities untouched by tourism.

DAY 0 // Arrival
Immigration clearance, airport transfer to the hotel, overnight.

DAY 1 // Luang Prabang and Guided Meditation
Our adventure begins with a leisurely cycle through the sacred city, stopping by revered temples that hold centuries of wisdom. We give alms to the Morning Monk Procession and return to the hotel for a light breakfast and a yoga session. Guided by our orange-robed instructors, immerse yourself in the mystique of monastic practices during an insightful temple tour. Prepare to embrace tranquility as we gather for a one-hour guided meditation session, allowing you to find harmony amidst the serene surroundings. Next we’ll stroll along the Mekong, eventually joining a mesmerizing sunset cruise. Let the tranquil waters and vivid skies envelop you, marking the perfect culmination of a day filled with cultural exploration, inner reflection, and the sheer beauty of Luang Prabang.

DAY 2 // Serenity and Adventure: Embrace the Mekong's Beauty

Begin your day with a revitalizing vinyasa flow yoga session, synchronizing your breath with movement as the sun casts its early glow. Set against a serene backdrop, this invigorating practice prepares you for a day of exploration and tranquility.

The gentle breeze and panoramic views accompany you as you pedal through quaint villages, lush landscapes, and traditional markets. The rhythmic cycling serves as a moving meditation, connecting you with the heartbeat of the land.

DAY 3 // Serenity on the Nam Ou River
Yoga session: 2 hrs / Cycle: 50 km

DAY 4 // 100 Waterfalls Trek
Yoga session: 2 hrs / Trek: 5-6hrs

Day 5 // Cycle the Rooftop of Laos Nong Khiaw - Nam Kat Yorla Pa Resort
Yoga session: 2 hrs / Cycle: 60 km

DAY 6 // The Local Life, Nam Kat Yorla Pa Resort Pakbeng
Yoga session: 2 hrs / Cycle: 70 km

DAY 7 // Slow Boat to Luang Prabang + Departure
Yoga session: 1 hr / Meditation: 1 hr

Level of difficulty: Easy to moderate
Activities: cycling - entry level, yoga, meditation, hiking, swimming, boating, sightseeing.
Accomm & meals: Double sharing rooms: hotels, guesthouses. Dinners excluded.

Cost: AED 6450 excl. flights until FEB 15. Past this date cost will change.
