Welcome!!!
The Tri-City Women's Meetup is a group for women in the Port Moody, Coquitlam, and Port Coquitlam area (or outside of this area). We are limiting the number to 70 people at this time.
Our intention is to form a supportive group of women in our community by sharing ideas, skills, beliefs, knowledge and laughter in a fun and social atmosphere. We can meet for lunches, dinners, movies, coffees, walks in the park, and just about anything else that interests our members. As we continue to grow, we’ll be focusing on fun events that will inspire us to grow as individuals.
Our main activity drivers are our members. You tell us what you want to do. This is a great group of women, and as such, our meetup can only be as dynamic and interesting as we make it together. Event ideas and organization assistance is greatly appreciated and necessary for to the growth of this group.
Membership Requirements:
• $10 Annual Membership Fee: Meetup charges us over $300 yearly to use their platform. Please pay within the 1st month of joining. Please e-transfer $10 to vickireese@me.com (please message me so I can keep a record--often your E-transfer name doesn't always match your profile name)
• Profile: must include a recent headshot photo, no sunglasses/other people in the picture and your last name initial in order to be accepted into our group. This is part of our safety policy so that we can recognize our members at events.
• No Shows: Organizers take time & effort to plan fun events for everyone. Please be respectful to fellow members, as they could be waiting for you. 2 'No-Shows' may result in removal from the group.
• RSVP’s: If you RSVP to a posted event & can’t attend, please remove your RSVP at least 24 hours prior to the event. If you are sick, please do not come to events.
