# #613 Photograph Plenty of Peonies – A one Day workshop Starting Sunday June 7, 2026 1:00PM-4:00PM
Join us for this four-hour workshop downtown Ann Arbor to photograph hundreds of Peony species. The UpJohns gardens is a short walk from the University of Michigan Hospital parking structure. Bring your tripod, shoe mount flash, macro lens (if you have one) or at least a set of extension tubes. MPW will have some extension tubes on hand for Nikon, Canon and Sony. A reflector will be useful, but Bryce will have a couple on hand for you to use. Learn how to expose and compose your images of these fragrant and colorful flowers. The size of this garden is about the size of two football fields end to end, so you will have ample room to shoot without tripping over each other. This workshop proceeds rain or shine as rain drops and dew on flowers still looks pretty cool.
