Join us for a fun afternoon at the United Way's office at CityPlace in downtown West Palm Beach. Using such basic supplies as markers, crayons, glue, paper and scissors, we'll decorate literacy kits that'll be distributed free to local pre-K and kindergarten children to encourage their love of reading. All supplies are provided and no special drawing or craft-making skill is needed. Everyone is welcome. Take note that we will not be working with children.
Parking is free in one of the nearby garages. Just bring in your ticket to receive a voucher. Light refreshments will be served. The event will begin with a talk about the United Way's local activities.

We invite you to join us for the 18th annual Boating & Beach Bash for People with Disabilities, the nation's largest free event for kids, adults and wounded warriors with special needs, along with their families and caregivers. It's a joy- filled day that celebrates their diversity and treats them like VIPs.
The Bash depends on volunteers to make the day a success. There are plenty of valuable positions that don't require any knowledge or experience working with the disabled. All it takes is an interest in helping.
