We invite you to join us for the 17th annual Boating & Beach Bash for People with Disabilities, the nation's largest free event for kids, adults and wounded warriors with special needs, along with their families and caregivers. It's a joy-filled day that celebrates their diversity and treats them like VIPs.

They'll be treated to free boat rides, barbecue lunch, adaptive beach activities, live music, costumed action heroes, wheelchair yoga, games, service dogs and support ponies, magicians, face painting, giveaways and much more.

The Bash depends on volunteers to make the day a success. There are plenty of valuable positions that don't require any knowledge or experience working with the disabled. All it takes is an interest in helping.

Our Meetup is from 9:30 a.m.-1:30 p.m. You're welcome to help out earlier or later on your own if you'd like. Setup begins at 8 a.m. and the event is open to the public from 10 a.m.-3 p.m. Breakdown and cleanup is from 3-4:30 p.m. You have full flexibility.

Parking is free. There's complimentary refreshments for early morning volunteers. Everyone will be treated to lunch. This incredibly impressive event is presented by the American Disabilities Foundation. Last year more than 2,000 people attended, many coming from other states and even other countries.
