New Richmond Cardboard Boat Regatta

Safety Spotters are needed on the water for the racers in this years Cardboard Boat Regatta. Your job, should you decide to accept it, is to patrol the length of the race course (150 yards) and render assistance to any racer who finds themselves in the water due to capsizing or trying for the Titanic Trophy!

Watch the races from your front row kayak seat. The Local 12 and Channel 5 News Crews will be on hand to race for barging rights, with the race video at their 6 pm Newscast. This could be your chance to be discovered!

Meet at the Augusta St. boat ramp at the east end of the New Richmond waterfront by 12 NOON. Be unloaded and ready to push off by 12:30 and be on station by 12:50. RACES START AT 1PM.

Bring plenty of water, and sunscreen!
