About us
"Welcome all young adults in the Piedmont Triad area looking to go outside and socialize with others like them while getting more active!
We plan on hiking on several trails/greenways in the broader Greensboro, Winston Salem, High Point area.
We'll plan to usually cover around 3-6 miles in a roughly 1 1/2 to 2 hour timeframe.
All skill levels are welcome! All you need to join is a good set of closed toed shoes and a desire to explore your natural surroundings!
While hikes are what we'll be mainly doing, we may depending on nearby terrain/interests also consider doing other activities such as paddleboarding or climbing.

Caraway Creek Grand Loop (4 Miles) At 829 Jerico Road, Asheboro, NC (& NC Zoo)

For our third hike, we'll be meeting at the trailhead above for the Caraway Creek Preserve - we'll be doing the Grand Loop!
The trail itself is a 4 mile loop.
This is a majority natural trail with some elevation - it is well maintained and marked though so we should have no issues in following the path!
The parking lot beside the trailhead has 15-20 spots - we should hopefully enough spots for everyone but carpooling is recommeded when possible given the distance and number of spots!
We will plan to meet at 1:00 PM - we will leave around 1:15-1:20 PM and plan to conclude around 2:45-2:50 PM.
Bringing closed toed shoes and something to hydrate with is advisable.
