Triad Hiking Group (Ages 20-35)

For our sixth hike, we'll be meeting to do the Red & Blue Trails in Belews Lake Park!

The park is situated slightly north of Stokesdale & is roughly halfway distance wise between Greensboro & Winston Salem.

Combined, both trails form a looped path that is roughly 1.9 miles long (we'll be doing the loop twice to get to a total of 3.8 miles).

Roughly 75% of the trail is natural with the rest being paved - on account of the limited elevation rise though this should be one of the easier trails we've hiked thus far though.

Most of the path is shaded.

Parking should be available at the park entrance.

We will plan to meet at 1:30 PM - we will leave around 1:45 PM and plan to conclude around 3:15 PM.

Bringing closed toed shoes and something to hydrate throughout with is strongly recommended!

While temperatures are anticipated to be reasonable, rain could be a factor - please bring either a rain jacket/poncho or umbrella in case light rain occurs.

I will be carrying some spare water bottles/snacks but space is limited so please make sure to prepare accordingly!
