2911 Guilford Mackintosh Trail, Whitsett, NC, 27377

For our ninth hike, we'll be heading eastward to Whitsett to take in the views of Lake Mackintosh as we walk through the Guilford Mackintosh Trail!

We'll be covering the loop twice for a grand total of 5.6 miles.

Significant segments of the trail are natural and there's some (though never too steep) elevation gain throughout.

Most of the path is thankfully shaded.

A small parking lot is present at the park entrance.

We will plan to meet at 1:30 PM - we will leave around 1:45 PM and plan to conclude around 3:45 PM.

Bringing closed toed shoes and something to hydrate throughout with is strongly recommended!

I will be carrying some spare water bottles/snacks but space is limited so please make sure to prepare accordingly!
