6th Annual, Local Harvest, Vegan Potluck and Variety Show

  • Oct 5, 2013 · 5:30 PM
  • Arcadia Lodge

Wow! Our sixth year!!!
We started hosting the local Harvest, vegan dinners in response to all the harvest dinners that we saw advertised that mainly featured local meat. This has been great fun in years past and we hope that the event keeps growing each year. Arcadia Lodge events always feature vegan food, which is, of course great for the health of the body, the spirit and the environment, but we also pay attention to camaraderie, communication, creativity and joyfulness, qualities that are also of vital importance to us all.

Please plan to attend and bring a vegan dish that features at least one local ingredient. It would be helpful if you also make a tag that states what you have made and what the local component/s are. Also, please plan a short 3-8 minute performance for the variety show (performing is not a requirement to attend). Tell your friends about this event!

This celebration will substitute for the monthly soiree.

Here are some ideas for the variety show: songs, music, dance, magic, jokes, poetry, puppets, theatrics....Let's get inspired but keep the performances suitable for kids of all ages! We have a keyboard and drums in the gallery/performance space.

Also, while you are at Arcadia Lodge feel free to relax in the park like setting. Say hello to the resident alpacas and donkeys while you wander the 10 acre homestead or enjoy the pond view, but please don't bring your pets.
Hope to see you!

Please RSVP.
