About us
Welcome to Triangle Third Place (20s & 30s) — a community built around a simple idea: everyone deserves a place to belong outside of home and work.
We create accessible, welcoming experiences that help young adults build real friendships, feel more connected to the Triangle, and discover the people and places that make this area special.
That might mean gathering at a hidden neighborhood café, exploring a local farm, trying something completely new, showing up for live music, wandering a museum, hiking a trail, supporting a small business, or simply sharing a table with people you haven’t met yet.
Our events are designed to make it easier to show up, especially if you’re coming alone. There are no cliques, no pressure to already know someone, and no expectation that you have to be the most outgoing person in the room. Just come as you are.
We believe community happens when people have more opportunities to be together in real life. That’s why we focus on creating experiences that are approachable, inclusive, and rooted in the places we call home.
Along the way, we also want to help people experience more of what’s already in their own backyard — local businesses, neighborhoods, parks, cultural spaces, traditions, and hidden gems they may otherwise never discover.
Whether you’ve lived in the Triangle your whole life or arrived today, you’re welcome here.
We ask that you adhere to our policy as we make waitlists fair and allow a good experience for our members and the businesses we support:
- RSVPs will open 2 weeks before each event
- RSVPs will close 24 hours before the event
- 2 no-shows may result in removal from the group
- 3 cancellations within 24 hours of an event may result in removal

📚 Book Swap (FREE): Bring 1–3 books you’ve enjoyed and swap them for something new! All genres welcome. No pressure to trade every book.
🎨 Blacklight Pottery (Optional, $23.71): Get creative painting your own pottery under blacklights! No experience necessary. Tickets must be purchased separately.
🍻 Just Here to Socialize? That’s welcome too! Grab a drink, browse some books, and enjoy meeting new people.
Coming solo? Perfect! Whether you’re a bookworm, an aspiring artist, or just looking for a fun evening out, there’s a place for you.

Come spend a Friday night with us at Mystic Farm & Distillery for an evening of magic, mind reading, cocktails, comedy, and a little mystery. ✨
We’re keeping this one small with just 40 spots for Triangle Third Place!
The evening will start with 60 minutes of close-up magic and mingling around the distillery before we settle in for a 90-minute stage show featuring illusions, mind reading, and comedy.
Your ticket also includes a cocktail to enjoy along the way. 🍸🪄

Your RSVP alone does not reserve your spot. Your spot with our group is confirmed once your ticket purchase has been verified. Please only RSVP once you’re ready to purchase so we can keep the 40 spots available for people who are joining us!
A note on seating
Seating is first come, first served, so we’ll plan to meet up before the show and head in together to give us the best chance of sitting near each other. We will also try to add signs to reserve our seats (pending confirmation from venue as we get closer)
Come solo or bring a friend — as always, you don’t need to know anyone beforehand. We’ll make introductions and enjoy a wonderfully weird Friday night together. 🔮✨
