About us
Welcome to Triangle Third Place (20s & 30s) — a community built around a simple idea: everyone deserves a place to belong outside of home and work.
We create accessible, welcoming experiences that help young adults build real friendships, feel more connected to the Triangle, and discover the people and places that make this area special.
That might mean gathering at a hidden neighborhood café, exploring a local farm, trying something completely new, showing up for live music, wandering a museum, hiking a trail, supporting a small business, or simply sharing a table with people you haven’t met yet.
Our events are designed to make it easier to show up, especially if you’re coming alone. There are no cliques, no pressure to already know someone, and no expectation that you have to be the most outgoing person in the room. Just come as you are.
We believe community happens when people have more opportunities to be together in real life. That’s why we focus on creating experiences that are approachable, inclusive, and rooted in the places we call home.
Along the way, we also want to help people experience more of what’s already in their own backyard — local businesses, neighborhoods, parks, cultural spaces, traditions, and hidden gems they may otherwise never discover.
Whether you’ve lived in the Triangle your whole life or arrived today, you’re welcome here.
We ask that you adhere to our policy as we make waitlists fair and allow a good experience for our members and the businesses we support:
- RSVPs will open 2 weeks before each event
- RSVPs will close 24 hours before the event
- 2 no-shows may result in removal from the group
- 3 cancellations within 24 hours of an event may result in removal

The Stanley Cup champions are back, and we're bringing 50 friends to cheer them on! 🏆
The Carolina Hurricanes have brought the Stanley Cup home to Raleigh, and what better way to celebrate than experiencing the excitement of a live NHL game together?!
Triangle Third Place has secured access to an exclusive block of 50 seats for the December 3 game against the Columbus Blue Jackets.
Whether you're a die-hard Caniac, a casual fan, or someone who's never watched a hockey game in their life, you're invited to join us!
Expect roaring crowds, flying pucks, high-energy hockey, and a whole lot of new friends. There's something pretty special about cheering alongside 50 people who might start the night as strangers and leave as friends.

### How to Confirm Your Spot
1. Purchase your discounted ticket. Use our private T3P booking link to select and purchase your seat. We tried to get this as low as possible, but it's in high demand now due to the Stanley Cup.
We will provide a discounted parking ticket as we get closer to game day.
2. RSVP on Meetup. Once you've purchased your ticket, RSVP to this event and provide your exact seat number so we can confirm you're part of our group.
3. Join the event WhatsApp chat. This is required for participation! We'll use the chat to coordinate carpooling, share game-day details, plan any pregame or postgame meetups, and answer questions.
Your RSVP is only confirmed once you've purchased your ticket, provided your seat number, and joined the WhatsApp group.

We'd love to make a whole evening of it if you want!
Depending on everyone's interests, we may organize a pregame gathering, coordinate carpools, or keep the fun going after the final buzzer. All those details will be discussed in our event WhatsApp chat as we get closer.
Coming solo? Please do! That's what Triangle Third Place is all about.
You don't have to know anyone beforehand, and you definitely don't have to know the difference between icing and offsides.
