JOIN OUR WHATSAPP GROUP TO PARTICIPATE!

This is NOT an actual Triangle Third Place event. Just a chance to informally meet others who are also attending.

Due to the large crowds at this event, we have decided that this will NOT be an official T3P event. However, we invite you to join our WhatsApp Chat to coordinate meeting others at the event and exploring, sharing pictures, and congregating together for fireworks at the end of the night. There’s lots to explore and new faces to meet :)

Come experience one of the Triangle’s biggest cultural celebrations with us! Triangle Third Place is heading to Hum Sub Diwali 2026 for a day filled with incredible food, colorful performances, music, culture, community, and a fireworks finale. 🎆

What is Diwali??
Diwali, often called the Festival of Lights, is one of the most widely celebrated festivals in India and across South Asian communities around the world. It symbolizes light over darkness, good over evil, and new beginnings, and is celebrated through lights, gatherings, food, music, traditions, and time spent with community.

Whether you celebrate Diwali every year or have never experienced it before, you’re welcome to join us. This is all about experiencing something new together, learning about another culture, meeting new people, and enjoying an amazing community celebration.

✨ What to expect:
• Cultural performances & entertainment
• Tons of Indian food and vendors
• Community and cultural booths
• A huge Diwali atmosphere at Koka Booth
• Fireworks to end the celebration 🎆

Admission is FREE! (but parking is $10)

Come solo or bring friends. We’ll meet up in Triangle Third Place groups (coordinated through WhatsApp) and explore the festival with new friends 🧡
