Girls' Sunset Picnic + Weaving 🌅

Spend a slow Sunday evening with a group of wonderful women at the new Flowers Cottage at Dorothea Dix Park for a picnic, meditative weaving, drinks, and sky line and sunset views.

We’ll start with an optional guided meditative weaving session from 5:30–6:30 PM, led by Sakshi (one of our wonderful members doing this for the first time). No experience is needed ... just come ready to make something if you'd like, unwind, and meet some new people.

NOTE: Weaving supplies are limited.

Afterward, we’ll settle in around the field for a casual sunset picnic. Bring your own blanket and feel free to pack dinner or snacks. Flowers Cottage will also be open with soft serve ice cream, snacks, coffee, matcha, sodas, beer, and wine available for purchase.

What to bring:
• A picnic blanket or chair
• Optional food/snacks for yourself
• Water
• Anything else that makes a sunset picnic more comfortable (like a hat, sunscreen, shade umbrella, whatever you need)

This is meant to be an easy, low-pressure evening to create, connect, and enjoy one of Raleigh’s newest gathering spaces!
