Frolicking into Fall 🍂🥾

Helloo friends and future friends :) It’s the first day of fall aka the best season (feel free to debate me), and that means an autumnal activity is in order. Join us for the last summer sunset at Umstead State Park as we stroll Sal’s Branch trail. This is a 2.8 mile loop with views of Big Lake, and while no hiking experience is required, the Umstead website does label this trail as a moderate hike.

Whether you’re an avid outdoorsman, just want to get out of the house, or want to celebrate the start of fall, we’d love to see you. We will start from the Park’s visitor center, which has plenty of parking and where the trailhead is (see address for exact location).

Coming solo? Most people are! Bringing a friend? The more the merrier :)

Because many of our events have limited capacity, an RSVP is considered a real reserved spot. If you can no longer attend, please update your RSVP at least 24 hours before the event so someone else has the opportunity to join. Repeated late cancellations or no-shows may result in removal from Triangle Third Place.
