Join us for our first playtest night of the year! Come try out some games from local independent developers, or bring your project and show it to our open and supportive community.

Schedule:
5:00pm - Early setup for developers
5:30pm - EVENT BEGINS - Doors open for playtesting
9:00pm - Event ends

What you can expect at the event:

  • Check out local indie interactive projects; mostly videogames, with occasional TTRPGs, board games, & experimental projects.
  • Bring your prototypes, works-in-progress, weird experiments, or your back catalog releases (please include content warnings if necessary).
  • We're Family-friendly! Supervised kids are welcome to attend & play games.

HOW TO GET IN TO THE EVENT:

  • Arrive at the front door of the 800 building. You will see a big blue "800" sculpture and a flagpole/carpool loop.
  • Outside the glass sliding doors is a small black doorbell ringer.
  • Ring the doorbell, and a volunteer will come get you in ~1-2 minutes

Food & Drink
Many folks bring snacks or seltzer water to share. You're also welcome to BYO dinner and eat at the event. The Boxyard food hall across the street is a good option for takeaway food, or visit one of the many nearby restaurants in the RTP area.

Featured Games:

  • Mech Tech - A couch co-op Strategy MOBA with a charming retro style
  • TORSO TENNIS - a roguelike tennis game
  • Sweets Inc. - a sweets factory automation and business sim
  • Hextable - a unique 6-button arcade machine
  • Your Game Here - bring your project!

No need to reserve space for your game - just show up with it and we will make room!
