Libertarians have real solutions to North Carolina’s critical issues.
Rules, regulations, and subsidies made by distant politicians and bureaucrats as a “one-size-fits-all” solution inevitably fail to account for unique individual needs and circumstances. Instead, these policies create a situation where people are forced into opposing interest groups constantly lobbying government for special treatment. We don’t think that there should be rules which reward some people at the expense of others.

Libertarians don’t believe that anyone has the right to use force to achieve political ends. Our solutions are different because they support choice and opportunity equally. They are real because they foster the kind of voluntary, peaceful society that creates long term prosperity and happiness for everyone.

Our 2026 candidates for NC House in Wake County include Matthew Kordon (H11), Ed George (H34), Wayne Cockrell (H39), and the second-youngest NCGA candidate on the ballot anywhere in North Carolina in 2026, Lucas Jones (H40). Topics likely to come up include education, health care, the economy and affordability, and many more. And if you have a pertinent state-government-related question or topic you’d like to see the candidates address, attend in person and you will get an opportunity to do exactly that!
