July 4th Potluck

This is joint potluck with the Triangle Vegetarian Society. Keep in mind this post only reflects our members who are attending - TVS members will be there who are not meetup members - so you get to meet them, too!

Please note: if you're interested in attending this potluck, please bring a vegan item to share, and include a list of ingredients. Please bring serving utensils, as well as a plate, glass, and utensils for yourself. Check out the TVS web page potluck FAQs for more info!

You do not have to be a member of TVS to attend their potlucks.

Please note that Norman Ridge Lane is the street you need to turn off on Leesville Road, and Fontana Ridge Lane is off of Norman Ridge Lane)

Vegan food only, please. We can meet around 5:00 to socialize, and have dinner at around 6:30 so people can make the fireworks downtown in Raleigh, if they wish. I have a grill that has always been used for vegan food, so please feel free to bring something to be grilled if you would like.

I live in a town home development with somewhat limited parking along the street.

IMPORTANT - If you find parking in the subdivision please take care to avoid blocking driveways, and pulling up on the grass, as this can damage our sprinkler system.

There is also limited parking on Leesville Road immediately after you turn right leaving the development. A third option is a public library .5 miles from my driveway which has plenty of lined parking places. If you would prefer to park there a couple of folks have volunteered to shuttle people to and from that parking lot. The library is at 5105 Country Trail, Raleigh. To get there from my house, turn right on Leesville when leaving the development, take the second left onto Country Trail. The Library will be on the left in about ¼ mile. Please call or text me at[masked] or Beth at[masked], and we will have someone come get you.

The Meetup starts at 5:00 with appetizers from 5pm-6:30 pm and dinner at 6:30. We will plan to pick people up at the Library until around 6:15, so everyone will be here for dinner.
