Safer Than You Think: What Every Woman Should Know About Protecting Herself
Details
What if you’re far more capable of protecting yourself than you think?
Personal safety isn’t just about knowing how to fight. In fact, one of the biggest factors in a threatening situation happens before anything physical ever takes place.
Join us for an eye-opening conversation that will challenge the way you think about personal safety, self-defense and your own ability to respond when it matters.
Our speaker, Joe, brings 25 years of experience in the U.S. Army along with a professional background in the SPEAR System of self-defense. He’ll explain why the first place we’re often “hit” in a threatening situation is emotionally, and how fear, surprise and our own assumptions about what we’re capable of can affect what happens next.
Through real stories of ordinary people who successfully protected themselves, you’ll discover that effective self-defense may look very different from what you imagine. This isn’t about becoming a fighter or living your life afraid. It’s about awareness, understanding your natural responses and recognizing that you may already have more ability to protect yourself than you realize.
The Evening
We’ll meet at 6:00 PM to enjoy a bite to eat, a drink and some time to connect with one another.
At 6:30 PM, Joe will begin a 30-minute presentation, followed by an open Q&A, giving you the opportunity to ask questions and explore situations that matter to you.
Come for the conversation. Leave seeing your own safety, awareness and capabilities a little differently.
You may be safer than you think.
