About us
Monthly online workshops for understanding your triggers, strengthening boundaries, and building relationships where you can be yourself.
Do you go quiet when you feel criticized? Say yes when you mean no? Find yourself having the same argument with different people?
Triggers, Boundaries & Better Relationships is a New Mexico community exploring the patterns beneath those moments - and how to respond with greater awareness, choice, and self-trust.
Led by Jungian relationship coach Aaron King, each monthly workshop explores a different relationship theme through visual storytelling, everyday examples, and practical reflection questions.
A new one-hour format - with room for more people
We’re expanding beyond our previous small-group format to welcome a larger audience. Available spaces will be shown in each event listing.
Each workshop includes:
- A visual presentation that makes the ideas easy to follow.
- Guided questions you can apply privately to your own situation.
- A downloadable presentation PDF and reflection worksheet.
- Time at the end for questions and brief guided walkthroughs with up to two volunteers, as time allows.
You’re welcome to keep your camera off, write privately, and choose whether to speak. You can take part in the process without sharing your personal story.
If you’re ready to explore an example with Aaron, you can volunteer during the closing discussion. Individual coaching isn’t guaranteed, but everyone receives the questions and practices to use for themselves.
Our next three monthly themes
1. Why This Gets Under My Skin
Our revamped trigger workshop explores relationships as mirrors: what a charged moment may reveal about an old fear, an unmet need, a boundary, or a part of yourself you’ve learned to hold back. Walk through the trigger questions and practice creating space between what you feel and what you do next.
2. Why Your Yes Turns into Resentment
Explore the moments when keeping the peace costs you your own voice. Recognize an automatic yes, notice what it protects, and practice a more honest response.
3. A Boundary You Can Actually Hold
Get clearer about the difference between a request and a boundary. Identify what matters to you, what you can communicate, and what follow-through is yours to choose.
Each workshop stands alone. You can join at any point, and no previous experience is required. Dates and registration details will appear in the individual event listings.
Other themes we may explore over the coming year
When helping becomes rescuing. Being seen without performing. Asking for what you want. Repairing after conflict. Rebuilding trust after broken agreements. Recognizing the difference between chemistry and a familiar pattern.
We’ll announce upcoming subjects a few months at a time, with room for the questions emerging in the community.
Downloads, replays, and privacy
After each workshop, we’ll send everyone who RSVPs a Meetup follow-up with the presentation PDF, reflection worksheet, and teaching replay.
Only the teaching portion will appear in the shared replay. Recording, transcription, and automated note-taking will stop before personal discussion or volunteer walkthroughs. Please respect other participants’ privacy and don’t record or share their contributions.
