KAYAK Round Island

Meet at boat launch Round Island Park in Fort Pierce We launch at 8:30, so give yourself to time to unload and sign in. We'll paddle around the islands and possibly see manatee. Mating herds are sometimes there in summer. There are sand beaches to get out and stretch our legs and swim in the intercoastal waterway.
Bring plenty of water, sun protection, and lunch if you'd like to eat at the pavilion or picnic tables afterward.
There are restrooms.
You must bring your own kayak, and life jackets are required.
