Truly Knowing Malaysia: Expats & Malaysians Connect 1.0
Hi everyone,
I’m Puan Nur Ainne, and I would like to invite you to a warm and informal gathering designed to bring together expatriates and Malaysians in a relaxed, respectful space for meaningful conversation and connection.
This event is about sharing real-life experiences of foreigners integrating into Malaysian society. We will explore experiences across everyday areas such as work, community life, administration, economy, social interaction and more societal elements. In a balanced, open, and respectful way.
The conversations will be gently guided under the Truly Knowing Malaysia framework (www.trulyknowingmalaysia.com), focusing on understanding, verified source of information, humility, patience, gratitude, contentment, curiosity, and mutual respect.
The aim is to create a welcoming space where people can listen, share openly, and better understand each other’s experiences in Malaysia. Those who need more personalised assistance can ask me later during the networking session about how Truly Knowing Malaysia supports its clients.
This is a potluck-style gathering, so everyone (including the guests you bring along) is asked to bring a dish to share. I will provide additional food, drinks, utensils, and basic cleaning items.
Everyone will have a chance to speak, and we encourage attentive listening when others are sharing so the conversation stays clear, respectful, and inclusive for all. Simply put, good manners go a long way.
