Try new things 20s to 40s

On 12 august is going to be the fullest eclipse since 1999!
Please get all your gear ready, whether it's buying certified glasses, making a DIY pinhole or just using smartphone photography and looking away.

It is due to start at 18:15 and reach it's 92.2% peak peak at 19:10.
If you remember the 1999 eclipse from when you were a kid, and even if you don't, it's a chance to get all fired up and disappointed by the anticlimax as it was back then. 🤣🤣🤣

Due to the whole: not looking at the sun thing, we'll leave the park around 19:30, when the eclipse is actually over.

we'll then take a nice half an hour walk to get to The Highfield (22 Highfield Rd, Birmingham B15 3DP), which is a very lovely pub.
Which, completely by the way, just so happens to have the best women's room I recall ever seeing in Birmingham.
