What we’re about

This is a regular lunch time meetup very close to King's Cross.

It is more about entertainment and fun rather than personal development. It will be more raw and improvisational rather than a structured public speaking forum.

But it will be a great opportunity for anyone to try out that speech they have to give, practise the pitch, tell the jokes, reveal the personal story. Your feedback will be immediate on three criteria; style, content and overall impact. The audience will give you a red or green card. You could become a star speaker (five stories all receiving total green card feedback), and start to earn and be a regular on our planned youtube channel.

What does meetup need to get rolling?

1. Audience members
2. Storytelling members
3. Those who might be both

Please indicate which when you join.

The format

The aim is 30 minute sessions; bring your sandwich, drink and entertain or be entertained. Speaker and audience arrive 1pm, begins 1:10pm, 5-10 mins story, audience reaction 1:20pm. 1:30pm back to work for everyone.

Maximum audience 10 people

The location

My photography studio 1 minute from King's Cross station.

Equipment

Projector and screen available, plus whiteboard.

The audience

I anticipate the audience will come from the King's Cross, Holborn and Bloomsbury areas. The vision is that this is an enjoyable lunchtine option.
