- Book Club at Brambly ParkBrambly Park, Richmond, VA
We welcome you to join us for our monthly book club get-togethers. We will select one book each month and we ask that you read the book so we can discuss it. Be prepared for spoilers!
Our book this month is “Babel” by R. F. Kuang. This book may be found as physical, digital, or audio copies at local libraries and on Kindle Unlimited. You don't have to bring a copy of the book to our meeting.
“1828. Robin Swift, orphaned by cholera in Canton, is brought to London by the mysterious Professor Lovell. As his studies progress, Robin finds himself caught between Babel and the shadowy Hermes Society, an organization dedicated to stopping imperial expansion. When Britain pursues an unjust war with China over silver and opium, Robin must decide…”
We will choose the next month’s book at our meeting so come prepared to pitch your book of choice!
