This is a Special Event. All Trying to Adult RVA events require tickets or access passes, available exclusively through the Trying to Adult RVA website. Members can unlock free or discounted access passes depending on their membership tier. Non-members are welcome to join by purchasing an individual access pass. This October, join us for a community service project with just a touch of Halloween spirit! Barton Heights Cemetery is one of Richmond’s historic resting places, and while it carries a quiet, spooky charm this time of year, it also deserves our care and respect. Together, we’ll be giving back by cleaning up and restoring sections of the grounds so this piece of local history can shine again.

Volunteers will help with:

• Removing trash and debris
• Clearing overgrowth, small trees, and bushes along the fence line
• Hauling accumulated brush
• String trimming
• Uncovering long-hidden grave markers

All tools and gloves will be provided. Please dress for outdoor work: hats, long sleeves, long pants, and sturdy shoes are highly recommended. Sunglasses and sunscreen are also encouraged.

Come ready to roll up your sleeves, enjoy a fall day outdoors, and help bring a little light back to this historic (and slightly spooky) spot in our community.

Get ready for some friendly fire! We’re heading out for an afternoon of adrenaline, strategy, and laughs with a paintball adventure.

You’ll get:

• Access to 5 unique paintball fields
• 100 paintballs included for each person
• All the gear and equipment you’ll need to suit up and play

Whether you’re a seasoned paintball pro or it’s your very first time, this is all about having fun, teaming up with friends, and making some new ones along the way. Expect a mix of action, teamwork, and plenty of stories to laugh about afterward.
