If you’ve ever wanted a night that’s a little chaotic, a little theatrical, and a whole lot of fun… this is it.

GWARbar is one of RVA’s most iconic spots. Think heavy metal energy, wild monster decor, over the top vibes, and a menu that fully commits to bold, creative flavors. The space is immersive, unapologetic, and completely itself. We love that.

We’ll meet before karaoke to grab food, sip on drinks, and actually talk. This is your chance to make friends, claim your song, hype each other up, and settle into the weirdness together. No pressure to perform. No pressure to be cool. Just show up as your full, authentic self.

Karaoke kicks off at 9pm. Whether you’re belting out a power ballad, screaming early 2000s pop punk, or cheering from the sidelines with fries in hand, this night is about letting loose and having fun.

Come for the vibes. Stay for the music. Leave with new friends and at least one song stuck in your head.

This is a Classic Event. All Trying to Adult RVA events require tickets or access passes, which can be secured through the Trying to Adult RVA website. Members can unlock free or discounted access passes depending on their membership tier. Non-members are welcome to join by purchasing an individual access pass.

Spots must be claimed in advance, and you must have a ticket from the Trying to Adult RVA website to secure your place. RSVPing on any other platform does not guarantee your spot.
