Come out and let's have reasonable discussions.
Annual Dues: $15

Trivia Night at Pueblo Vida
Pueblo Vida Brewing Company, 115 East Broadway Boulevard, Tucson, AZ, USTrivia, Pueblo Vida Brewing Company
115 E Broadway Blvd
Tucson, AZ 85701After a few years of regular Trivia fun at Bawker Bawker Cider House (RIP), we are for now triviating at Pueblo Vida. Bawker Bawker (now known as Double Down) is undergoing renovations and is closed for "a few weeks" according to the Team Trivia Facebook page. Pueblo Vida is on Broadway near 6th Avenue.
Come share the fun, the community, and the godless bounty. The Wednesday night trivia event became its own community at Bawker Bawker (RIP), and the Heretics are a big part of it. All are welcome to join us!
The system is by TeamTrivia.com (TT). Questions are announced over a loudspeaker and answers are submitted on paper to the host. You can go to the TT site on the same day and get one free answer, and their Facebook page provides a free topic hint. It’s free although Pueblo Vida would love it if we bought drinks or some of their nice snacks: I don't know much about their beers but they do have a UofA-themed Sonoran-style amber. Go Cats?
I will get there early to secure a good table. Look for Stephen in a grey tee displaying Dance at Bougival.
Please note that this is not an atheist-centric event. It is open to the general public. Our purpose is to have a pleasant evening and perhaps win something. Both of those purposes are regularly accomplished.
If fewer than 3 attendees, I may cancel.
Parking suggestions:
Right across the street from the pub, there is a small lot, but it's not cheap (I heard $15 for two hours). Just a block away (south of Broadway), all around the little intersection of 6th Ave and 12th Street, there is metered parking that is free after 7.
You can also park free after 5 p.m. all along Fourth Avenue and the side streets. There is unmetered parking along the football field at Tucson High (this is 3rd Ave). From Bawker Bawker (RIP), it is a half mile walk (10 minutes) to Pueblo Vida, and it should be easy to park closer than that in the Fourth Avenue district. (Sometime this fall, parking meters might change so that enforcement goes until 7 p.m. You can read more here but for now, parking in the Fourth Avenue district is free after 5.)
Another idea is to park along the streetcar line and then travel downtown on the streetcar. There is free parking at the University (in surface lots just north of Speedway), and the streetcar could also be an option for those who would rather not walk from the Fourth Avenue district. I can provide more detailed instructions on where to park at the UofA and how to get to the bar on the streetcar. Just DM me or email stephen@sfmatheson.com.
