About us
Tucson Atheists--there are more of you than you know--is now increasing our activity, organizing, and beginning to recruit more.
Membership not required to come to meetings.
Come out and let's have reasonable discussions.
Annual Dues: $15
To keep Tucson Atheists running smoothly and cover our Meetup hosting costs, we now ask members to contribute $15 per year. This helps sustain our discussions, social events, and community activities. If dues are a hardship, just reach out privately — everyone is welcome to participate.

Trivia Night at Tap + Bottle (note Tuesday not Wednesday)
Tap & Bottle Downtown, 403 N 6th Ave #135, Tucson, AZ 85705, Tucson, AZ, USTrivia, Tap + Bottle Downtown
403 N 6th Ave #135
Tucson, AZ 85705Note the newish night! We are now triviating on Tuesdays at Tap + Bottle.
Come share the fun, the community, and the godless bounty. The Wednesday night trivia event became its own community at Bawker Bawker (RIP), and the Heretics are a big part of it. All are welcome to join us!
We've been having a good time at Pueblo Vida on Wednesday evenings, but we miss Miguel (the Team Trivia emcee at Bawker Bawker for years) and we had a good time (and a first place finish) our first week. So, we'll be back there for now.
The system is by TeamTrivia.com (TT). Questions are announced over a loudspeaker and answers are submitted on paper to the host. You can go to the TT site on the same day and get one free answer, and their Facebook page provides a free topic hint. It’s free although Tap + Bottle will surely love it if we buy beverages or snacks.
Stephen will be there early to secure a good table; there's only one large table that can accommodate a team of more than 5 or so and I will be grateful for others who can come by 6:20 or so. I'll be wearing a black tee depicting the Death Star and the word "Defiance."
Please note that this is not an atheist-centric event. It is open to the general public. Our purpose is to have a pleasant evening and perhaps win something. Both of those purposes are regularly accomplished.
If fewer than 3 attendees, I may cancel.
Parking suggestions:
There is a lot just across the street but I don't know cost and I'm unsure about cost of parking on/near 6th Avenue, but you can park free after 5 p.m. all along Fourth Avenue and the side streets. There is unmetered parking along the football field at Tucson High (this is 3rd Ave). From Bawker Bawker aka Double Down, it is 4 short blocks west to Tap + Bottle. (Sometime this fall, parking meters might change so that enforcement goes until 7 p.m. You can read more here but for now, parking in the Fourth Avenue district is free after 5.)
