What we’re about
Tucson Community Meditation Center (TCMC) is committed to providing a community that nurtures and supports the teaching and continuing practice of meditation and mindfulness in daily life. TCMC provides opportunities for anyone to learn and practice meditation from both local and visiting teachers. We also provide library resources, social events, as well as both residential and non-residential meditation retreats.
We are a non-sectarian organization and anyone with an interest in meditation is welcome. Our weekly classes and monthly retreats typically consist of a guided meditation followed by a talk on a meditation related topic. There is also an opportunity to ask questions.
We have been offering meditation related events in the Tucson community since the 1980's. We are relatively new to Meetup, so we don't always get a large number of RSVP's, however we also get attendees from our website and newsletter.
Most of our events are now meeting in person, but we still have some online events as well.
This group is suitable for both new and experienced meditators.

Start your week with a longer meditation sit supported by a group. Have you struggled to maintain a regular meditation practice or to sit for longer periods of time? This is a great opportunity to deepen your meditation practice and challenge yourself.
Please join us on the 2nd, 4th and 5th Sundays of the month. We will now have one 50 minute uninterrupted meditation session, from 8:30 am to 9:20 am
You are also invited to stay and visit after the sit. We hope you will join us to come together in community.
We ask you not to attend if you are sick.
Donations are gratefully accepted to help support TCMC. If you prefer to donate online you may do so here: https://www.tucsonmeditation.org/donate-tcmc
