This month we're taking Craft & Chat out of the coffee shop and into Tucson Creative Reuse, a wonderful new creative reuse shop in the heart of Tucson's historic Fourth Avenue district. Fourth Avenue has always been a place where artists, makers, musicians, and creative spirits come together, and this feels like the perfect place to gather with fellow crafters.

Bring a portable creative project to work on, meet other local makers, and take some time to explore the shop's ever-changing collection of affordable reclaimed art and craft supplies. Whether you enjoy sewing, painting, beading, drawing, paper crafts, upcycling, or just making things with your hands, you'll be in good company.

Our host, Misa, is passionate about building Tucson's creative community, and we're excited to help introduce more makers to this fantastic new local resource.

Parking: There are lots of metered spaces along Fourth Avenue, plus nearby city garages and surface lots if the street spots are full. However, street parking is metered ($1.50/hour), so please come prepared to pay for parking if you arrive before 7:00 PM. After 7:00 PM, parking is free.

Although this event is free to attend, it is not free to arrange or host. Please plan to support our hosting partner, Tucson Creative Reuse, by making a purchase or donating some of your unwanted crafting supplies. And consider dropping a dollar or two into the "Meetup Fund" tip jar. All money will go toward paying the required Meetup annual fees.
