Painting With Fabric

Come learn the traditional Japanese craft of Kinusaiga (aka "silk pictures"). This craft is easy, fun, and addicting! Cost to participate is $15 (paid at the door) which includes instruction, all tools & materials, and your own kinusaiga art piece to take home with you.

This workshop will be held at Tucson Creative Reuse, a wonderful new creative reuse shop in the heart of Tucson's historic Fourth Avenue district. Fourth Avenue has always been a place where artists, makers, musicians, and creative spirits come together.

Our host and shop owner, Misa, is passionate about building Tucson's creative community, and we're excited to help introduce more makers to this fantastic new local resource.

Parking: There are lots of metered spaces along Fourth Avenue, plus nearby city garages and surface lots if the street spots are full. However, street parking is metered ($1.50/hour), so please come prepared to pay for parking.
