Come learn the traditional Japanese craft of Kinusaiga (aka "silk pictures"). This craft is easy, fun, and addicting!

In this guided workshop, you’ll learn how to make your own fabric painting. Choose from a variety of colors and patterns as you dive into the wild and wonderful world of Kinusaiga!

Ticket price includes the instruction, tools, and materials to make your own fabric art piece. There will be multiple patterns to choose from - not just the fall leaf design shown here, but many more. No experience necessary.

This workshop will be held at Tucson Creative Reuse, a wonderful new creative reuse shop in the heart of Tucson's historic Fourth Avenue district. Fourth Avenue has always been a place where artists, makers, musicians, and creative spirits come together.

Our host and shop owner, Misa, is passionate about building Tucson's creative community, and we're excited to help introduce more makers to this fantastic new local resource.

Parking: There are lots of metered spaces along Fourth Avenue, plus nearby city garages and surface lots if the street spots are full. However, street parking is metered ($1.50/hour), so please come prepared to pay for parking.
