About us
Welcome to Tucson Mind-Body Collective (by Niyama Integrative Therapy): A quieter, more intentional space for healing, nervous system regulation, and real connection.
This group is for people who are feeling overwhelmed, burned out, anxious, or simply craving a slower, more grounded way of taking care of themselves. If traditional wellness spaces feel performative, loud, or surface-level, this is an alternative.
Here, we focus on practices that support the mind and body together:
Nervous system regulation
Stress and anxiety support
Somatic (body-based) healing
Mindfulness and breathwork
Intentional rest and reflection
You don’t need to have experience with meditation, yoga, or any wellness practice to join. This is a space where you can simply show up as you are.
What to Expect
Events are designed to be calm, accessible, and meaningful, not overwhelming or performative. Offerings may include:
Community Acudetox (auricular acupuncture) circles
Guided nervous system reset sessions
Breathwork and grounding practices
Therapist-guided book club discussions
Seasonal workshops on anxiety, burnout, and emotional patterns
Some events will be free or low-cost to keep the space accessible.
About the Organizer
This group is hosted by a licensed clinical social worker and founder of Niyama Integrative Therapy. The intention is to create a space that bridges clinical understanding with holistic, body-based practices, while remaining grounded, ethical, and inclusive.
Our Intention
This is not a space for performance, pressure, or aesthetics. It is a space to:
Slow down
Reset your nervous system
Build self-awareness
Connect in a more genuine, low-pressure way
Who This Space Is For:
Adults navigating stress, anxiety, or burnout
People seeking deeper, more intentional healing spaces
Those who feel out of place in traditional wellness or social environments
Anyone wanting to reconnect with themselves in a quieter way
Final Note
You are welcome here exactly as you are. No experience needed—just a willingness to show up. Events will be a mix of in-person and online to tailor connection in accessible forms for everyone!
