Details
Hi Tucson .Netters,
We hope that this note finds you safe and well!
Thanks to all who attended last month as Alicia gave us an excellent presentation on Azure machine learning to help deal with Covid.
I'm tied up with something and won't be able to host the meeting this month.
If you're looking to check out what's new with .NET I'd highly recommend taking a look at the content from the Build conference which took place last month.

I've been experimenting with Blazor and we will have a talk on that in an upcoming meeting.
If you're interested in learning more about the latest webassembly version of Blazor here is an excellent talk on it from Steven Sanderson.

If you are interested in what's happening with .NET 5.0 check it out

or try a docker container version

We had also talked about remote development with Visual Studio Code. Here's another nice session

You should be able to combine that with the .NET 5 container images to check things out in a way that won't affect your system.
We will be having some upcoming talks related to .NET 5 as well since that will be the biggest .NET event of the year.
Be safe!!!
See you next time!
================================================================
There are so many hot topics these days and we have a lot to pick from. I'd encourage you to do two things
- consider giving a presentation to the group
- vote on the topics you'd like to see covered for upcoming talks at this link; https://www.meetup.com/Tucson-NET-User-Group/polls/1284099/
We'd like to thank Nate and TEKSystems who normally provide our venue along with food and drink. Nate is focused on C# and .NET and can be contacted to answer any questions on related job opportunities.
