Early Morning Blackett's

Distance: 6.2 miles
Elevation Gain: 1,810 feet (and steep)

For those of you not familiar with Blackett's, this is a tough steep hike and you should only sign up if you are reasonably fit and/or have been hiking regularly. I have only done Blackett's 3 times and I am still not as fast as I want to be. I will be trying to beat my time but wanted to extend the invite to anyone that wants to join me on Thursday.

It will take about 2-3 hours to complete this hike depending on your fitness level. I scheduled it so early because the weather is getting warmer and this is a completely exposed hike, please remember to apply sunscreen.

Recommended:

2-3 liters of water Sun protection and remember to reapply at the top Snacks Camera Great attitude! Meet at the Sabino Canyon visitor's center ramada by 6:00 AM. We will be leaving promptly.
