Kayakers Meet at the Beach

This long running annual gathering of sea kayakers centers around home-built boats, but all are welcome to attend. There will be informal paddles starting from Bluff Point out to Fishers Island Sound and back starting throughout the morning. Most paddlers will come back to the launch for a potluck picnic after paddling. Others will just hang out at the beach, talking about building kayaks or relaxing. Some folks are planning on bringing spare gear they want to get rid of so feel free to bring stuff for a gear swap.
