WHO IS TUKI TIGER?
As the founder of Tuki Tiger Adventures, I’m an experienced hiker, walk leader and qualified fitness instructor. I’ve been fortunate enough to explore the outdoors and travel widely throughout my life – and now I’m excited to share that passion with you. My focus is on crafting imaginative hiking routes and organising fun, well-structured trips and social events, all built around creating a warm, relaxed atmosphere where new friendships can flourish.
If you’re looking to improve your fitness, discover thrilling, thoughtfully designed and expertly guided hikes, or simply enjoy the outdoors with energetic people from all walks of life, then a Tuki Tiger Adventures event is the perfect fit for you!
WHAT ADVENTURES DO WE ORGANISE?
The UK – and the world beyond – is full of hidden beauty and unforgettable experiences. With decades of hiking and travel behind us, Tuki Tiger Adventures is dedicated to crafting exciting day trips and group adventures for everyone to enjoy, all within a dynamic, friendly and fun atmosphere.
Day Hikes
We run multiple day hikes in a variety of lengths and difficulties – from relaxed, accessible strolls for most people, to brutal, high-pace challenges with multiple ascents. Some routes are very demanding and not for the faint-hearted.
Our routes cover the East, South East and the eastern edge of the South West, visiting beauty spots such as the Chiltern Hills, High Weald, Kent Downs, South Downs, Surrey Hills and a host of coastal trails. Expect peaceful countryside, testing climbs, rich flora and fauna, and – more often than not – spectacular panoramic views. You choose the level of adventure.
All Tuki Tiger hikes are professionally organised and competently guided. Every route is researched and pre-walked (recce’d) and then custom-designed to be as creative and memorable as possible.
We use a simple grading system – Tiger Paws – to describe the physical demands of each event. Please click the link below to view the grading and make sure you understand the nature of the hike before signing up. Some adventures are aimed at strong, experienced walkers only.
