Step back to 14 October 1066, when French and English armies clashed at the Battle of Hastings. The 1066 Country Walk, a 31-mile low-level route, follows the landscapes that witnessed the Norman Conquest, offering a journey through history and the English countryside alike.

Starting at Pevensey Castle, the trail passes the iconic Battle Abbey and Battlefield, then winds through medieval Winchelsea – a quaint, colourful village full of charm and character, and the perfect destination for this outdoor adventure.

We will focus on the most beautiful sections of the 1066 Country Walk, particularly toward the end, where stunning sea views reward our steps as we approach Winchelsea in unforgettable style.

Also advertised here: TUKI TIGER ADVENTURES (See full attendees).
