About us

We're a group of neighbors interested in composting and reducing what we send to the landfill. Whether you're already knee-deep in your compost pile or just curious about getting started, this is a judgment-free space to learn and share what works. We talk about different composting methods, troubleshoot problems like those mysterious fruit flies, and celebrate our kitchen scraps transforming into something useful for our gardens and plants.

Most of us are just regular people trying to figure this out as we go. Some have been composting for years, some just started last month. We meet regularly to swap tips, trade finished compost, and occasionally visit each other's setups to see what people are actually doing in their backyards. It's as much about building community as it is about composting.

If you're looking to start composting, already doing it and want to connect with others, or just interested in reducing waste in a way that actually feels doable, come join us. We keep things practical and real hereβ€”no perfect setups required, just genuine interest in trying something good for the earth and our neighborhoods.
