Citizens Climate Lobby - Space Coast Chapter

Come join the Turtle Coast Sierra Club for our engaging monthly meeting! This month, we're excited to welcome Ellen Cruse, co-leader of the Space Coast chapter of Citizens' Climate Lobby (CCL).

The Public is invited. Doors will open at 6:30 pm, allowing ample time for mingling before the meeting commences.

Topic:
Ellen will provide an inspiring update on the vital work of Citizens' Climate Lobby, a nonprofit, nonpartisan, grassroots advocacy organization dedicated to addressing the climate crisis through national policies. CCL's respectful, bipartisan approach builds broad support by focusing on shared values, empowering communities across political lines to advance fair, effective, and sustainable climate solutions.
This presentation is especially timely amid ongoing challenges to our environmental laws and protections at the state and national levels. Don't miss this opportunity to learn how we can drive meaningful climate action together!

About Ellen Cruse:
Ellen is an active member of the Rotary Club of Cocoa Beach (where she serves in leadership roles, including Chairperson for District Youth Exchange) and a passionate advocate for the environment. She joined CCL's Space Coast Chapter in 2022 and now co-leads the group.

Retired after a successful career in technical sales in Pennsylvania, Ellen has a rich background in international exchange—she was a Rotary Exchange Student to Australia, a Rotary Ambassadorial Scholar studying Mandarin in Taiwan, and has hosted 12 exchange students who are now part of her family. She mentors through the Take Stock in Children program and enjoys cooking, sewing, pickleball, jogging, biking, and swimming.
Whether you're a longtime Sierra Club member or new to environmental advocacy, this meeting is a great way to connect, learn, and get involved. All are welcome!
