At Tuxedo Cat Swing we offer high quality group lesson series and social dance events! Our classes are suitable for everyone- whether you have partner danced before or not! We offer class series for beginners & intermediates for Lindy Hop, Charleston, Balboa, Blues, and Solo Jazz!
Join us for fun and friendly swing dance classes where you can learn new moves, meet new dance partners, and throw down on the dance floor. Foundations to Lindy Hop - 6 Week Beginner Swing Classes!

We have a 6 week beginner level Lindy Hop lesson series starting Tuesday, April 28th! No experience or partner needed- We will pair up and rotate in class!
We know it can be intimidating trying something new by yourself, so we are offering $25 off the series if you sign up with a friend.
What is Lindy Hop?
Lindy Hop is the grandfather to all swing dances! It emerged in the African American communities in Harlem, NY in the late 20’s alongside the big band swing era and is still widely popular worldwide! It is all about connection, improvisation, and play, and that’s exactly what we’ll explore in this class.In this series, our instructors, Tasha & Erik, will teach you the foundations of Lindy Hop/ Swing Dance in a way that is fun and helps you build confidence! You will be ready to hit the dance floor and dance a wide variety of moves.
