I’m excited to bring the Twin Cities Arcaders back! Join me on Wednesday, October 21, at Dave & Buster’s in Edina for arcade games, food, and meeting new people. It’s Wednesday half-price games night, so we can enjoy more gaming together!
Whether you’re a returning Arcader or completely new, you’re welcome. Derek and I will both be there to greet everyone and help you get settled.

What to expect

This will be a casual gathering with up to 12 people, including Derek and me. You don’t need to know anyone beforehand or be great at games. You can join in, watch, or take a break whenever you like.

Our agenda

  • First 15–20 minutes: Meet near the large Arena area, check in with me or Derek, and get acquainted.
  • Next: Spend about an hour enjoying food, drinks, and conversation. Depending on our group size, interest, and availability, we may also play darts or shuffleboard while waiting for food. This gives everyone time to mingle before heading into the arcade.
  • Afterward: Explore the arcade together, break into smaller groups, or play at your own pace—there’s no need to stay together the whole time. I’m happy to introduce you to some of the newer games! If anyone wants to try the Arena, we’ll discuss it during introductions or food time.

The timing will stay flexible so we can enjoy the evening without rushing.

What to bring

  • A way to pay for your own games, food, and drinks.
  • Your Dave & Buster’s Power Card, if you already have one. You can also use a digital Power Card through the D&B app. If you’re new, you can get a card at the venue, and I’m happy to help you get started.
  • Your phone so you can check Meetup updates or message me if you need help finding us.
  • Comfortable clothes and shoes for walking around and playing games.

No gaming experience or special equipment is needed!

How to find us
Look for my white Pac-Man sweatshirt near the large Arena area. Derek and I will stay there for the first 15–20 minutes to welcome everyone. I’ll have optional first-name tags to make introductions easier.
Once we move, I’ll post an update in the Meetup event comments so you know where to find us. If you’re arriving later or can’t spot us, send me a message through Meetup.

RSVP details

Please RSVP through Meetup so I know who to expect. I’m keeping this first event small, so please don’t bring additional guests. If it fills up, join the waitlist—and if your plans change, cancel your RSVP so someone else can attend.
I’m looking forward to meeting everyone and getting the Arcaders playing together again.
