What we’re about
We are a group of conservative-minded individuals in the Twin Cities who discuss what it means to be conservative in the midst of the postmodern movement. We attack ideas, not people. We challenge each other's beliefs so that we may grow. We are sceptical of the way mainstream media presents the news. We are hungry for knowledge. We read voraciously. We judge people by their actions, not their words. We know that there is no such thing as a perfect person. We know that to be human is to be deeply flawed. We believe in the free market. We believe in the agency of the individual. We seek not to convert fellow man but to understand them. Through an understanding of other people, we may better understand ourselves.
This group will meet at regular intervals to discuss a predetermined subject for each session. At the end of the session, we will set the topic for the next session. For now, we will hold these meetings over zoom, with the potential to meet in person in the future.
