About us
Twin Cities Freethinkers of Color is a community for Black, Latino, Asian, Indigenous, Middle Eastern, multiracial, and other people of color seeking connection outside traditional religious spaces. Whether you've never been religious, left a faith tradition, are still figuring out what you believe, or simply value critical thinking and open-minded conversation, this is a place where you can show up as your authentic self. Allies are welcome, but the focus is on creating community among people of color.
Our goal is simple: build community.
We'll gather for coffee, meals, social events, discussions, local activities, and meaningful conversations about life, culture, identity, relationships, family expectations, personal growth, and the unique experiences of being a non-believer in communities where religion often plays a significant role.
This is not a debate group, and it is not a space for attacking religious people. We welcome respectful dialogue, curiosity, and diverse perspectives. The focus is on connection, support, friendship, and creating a sense of belonging.
Whether you're looking for new friends, thoughtful conversation, community, or simply a place where you don't have to explain yourself, we'd love to meet you.
Come as you are.
