This group is open to Twin Cities locals, transplants, and visitors. Whether you’re a complete beginner or a fluent speaker, you are welcome here.
Our goal is simple: to create a friendly and supportive space where people can practice languages they’re learning, or natives that want to make new friendships. We organize weekly and monthly meetups where members can connect, have real conversations, and improve together. All languages are welcome!
We believe language learning should be social, relaxed, and fun.
Our Code of Conduct
To ensure a positive experience for everyone, all participants agree to the following guidelines when attending our events:
1. Be respectful.
Treat everyone with kindness and courtesy. No discrimination, harassment, or inappropriate behavior will be tolerated.
2. Be inclusive.
Encourage participation. Avoid dominating conversations and help create space for others to speak.
3. Be supportive.
We are here to learn. Mistakes are part of the process, correct others gently and constructively if they ask for feedback.
4. Keep it safe and comfortable.
This is a language exchange group, not a dating event or a place for aggressive networking. Respect personal boundaries at all times.
5. Follow event host guidance.
Hosts may organize conversation groups or rotate languages to ensure everyone benefits.
