O propósito do evento é criar um espaço para praticar e usar a língua portuguesa, construir comunidade com outros lusofonos que moram nos Twin Cities, e conhecer pessoas que tem em comum uma paixão pela língua e cultura lusófona! Todos/as são bem-vindos/as, mesmo se você esteia apenas no início da sua jornada de aprendizado da língua portuguesa.

ENG: Welcome to "bate papo"' - or "chat" in Portuguese. This link is for organizing and publicizing the bate papo weekly meetup at Little Brazil Market. Bate papo was born out of the Twin Cities Language Exchange meetup, and is dedicated especially to the Portuguese language. The purpose of the meetup is to create a space to practice speaking Portuquese, build community with other Portuguese speakers in the Twin Cities, and get to know others who have a passion for Lusophone language and culture.
